Mechelle is a founding Partner of ARC Realty, the largest privately owned real estate company in Alabama. She has 25 years in the Real Estate profession with over 200 million in closed sales. She is a member of the Top 50 Women Leaders for Alabama for 2024, 2019 President for The Birmingham Association of Realtors MLS Board and was also named 'Residential Sales Associate of 2016'. She is a former MLS committee member for NAR (1.5 million members), Trustee for Samford University, 2023 Chairwoman for The Shelby County Chamber, former Board member of Shelby County's economic development board-58,Inc, Board member of the Community Foundation of Greater Bham, O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center Advisory Board, former member of Elevate Bham, Board member of Cornerstone Christian Schools, 2022 Top Birmingham Women and 2019 Women to Watch (both) named by the Bham Business Journal, 2018 Women Who Shape the State of Alabama, 2022 Alabama Association of Realtors Leadership class, Leadership Birmingham 2019 class, BAR Leadership Class of 2018, Shelby County Leadership Class of 2016, Tri-County LINKS, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Women's Committee of 100 for Bham, and former member of the Coalition of 100 Black Woman of Central Alabama. She holds a JD from the B'ham School of Law and a BA in Communications from Samford University. Mechelle has been married to the Rev. Dr Thomas Lee Wilder Jr for 41 years. They have four adult children- Charis (Denton), Gilia (Patrick), Thomas III and Kendra(Donkor) and four grandchildren. She is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and the youngest of 11 siblings.
